Meet Our Ambassadogs!
These pups are represented Greyhounds of New York City (GoNYC) at the Great Global Greyhound Walk (GGGW) 2023. We'll select new Ambassadogs for 2024 this summer. Check out one of our prior year's walk videos!

Ambassadogs and their humans play an important role in promoting the GGGW and leading the Central Park pack walk! Plus they're all just fabulous!
Here they are!!
Kev
Adopted from Greyhound Angels Adoption.
Kev is 5 years old and lives in midtown Manhattan with his mom, Lisa DiStefano. Kev is the happiest boy and loves to jump and play and hang with his special greyhound friends, Bella, Zanny, Ozzie and Molly. He also gets very wiggly and excited when he sees his Whippet and Iggie buddies. You can find Kev lounging in Central Park most weekends, taking in the sights and scents and loving on new people as a true Ambassadog.

Milly
Adopted from Greyhound Angels Adoption.
Silly Milly and Roger are housemates and Ambassadogs! She lives in New Jersey with Julie and Todd Richman too. Yay! Milly is the sweetest, most lovingest pup ever. And is stunning to look at with her cow patch coloring. In fact, she could double as a doggie super model! Her favorite things are mealtime and walkies! Come meet this precious girl at the GGGW.

Roger
Adopted from Greyhound Angels Adoption.
Roger is the perfect gentleman. He lives in Rockaway, NJ, with his housemate, Milly, also an Ambassadog, and his pawrents Julie and Todd Richman. From his enclosed and elevated deck, Roger loves watching the deer, fox, coyotes, wood chucks and more, that live in the woods. He is loving, loyal, and incredibly handsome. Roger is a credit to his breed and a perfect ambassador. We hope you get to meet this special furboy!

Turtle
Adopted from Greyhound Angels Adoption.
Turtle is a huge, silly boy with a cute overbite. He lives with his dad, Jonathan Richman, in Asbury Park and is just a bit shy around other dogs. So we'll give him a little extra space during the GGGW to help him feel more comfortable. Turtle's favorite activity is walking on the boardwalk with his dad. He's also a sleep expert and loves his naps. He’s a gentle soul in a giant body and he couldn't be more loved!

Zanny
Adopted from Greyhound Angels Adoption.
Zanny is a 3 year old retired racer and lives in NYC with her mom and dad, Amy and Tamir. She’s the most spirited and sweet girl and her favorite hobby is eating - she has an adventurous palette and is always looking to try new foods (past successes include celery, green beans, tofu and all types of fruit!). She also loves playing and sniffing her sighthound friends, Kev and Bella, in Central Park. Zanny hopes to keep growing to be the biggest greyhound with her hearty appetite and keep living her best life!

Larry
Larry was adopted from Long Island Greyhound Connection.
Larry lives in Spring Lake Heights, NJ, not too far from Divine Lake, where the NJ walk will take place. He enjoys enthusiastically puttering around the backyard, and gets crazily excited to meet his Greyhound friends at their weekly Spring Lake walk. Larry is a world-class roacher, who continues to hone his skills with hours of dedicated practice each day. Dan Berman, Larry's pawrent, is his roommate and butler!

Harvey
Adopted from Greyhound Friends of New Jersey in 2018.
Harvey is an 8 year old Greyhound born under the Taurus zodiac sign. He lives with 3 other Greyhound siblings in Brick, NJ, with the Dopko clan. His favorite things are lying in his brother's bed and laying in the grass. Like most Greys, he hates getting his corns hulled. But he dares you to count his spots!

Rosie Posie
Adopted from Greyhound Friends of New Jersey in 2019.
Rosie Posie is a 6 year old Greyhound born under the Aries zodiac sign. She lives with the Dopkos in Brick, NJ, along with her other Greyhound sublings; Harvey, Lolly and Ruby. Rosie Posie is an exceptional squirrel chaser. But hide the vacuum, she's not a fan of housework! Rosie Posie says: "Look into my deep, dark, eyes and give me all your cookies!"

Lolly
Adopted from Greyhound Friends of New Jersey in 2020.
Lolly is a 5 year old Greyhound born under the Libra zodiac sign. She lives with 3 other Greyhound siblings in Brick, NJ, with the Dopko clan. Lolly is an expert cuddler and has an "independent" streak. She does things when she is good an ready in Lolly time. ;-)

Ruby
Adopted from Greyhound Friends of New Jersey in 2022.
Ruby is the baby of the Dopko clan, she's just 3. But she says: "Notice how all of the Greyhound names in my pack end with the sound of E? Harvey, Rosie Posie, Lolly and me, Ruby!?" And: "Isn't it Greyt how my pawrents have a Greyhound in every color: Black and White Cowpatch, Black, Fawn, and me, a Brindle?" "That's cause we're perfect in every way."

Ruby was born under the Leo zodiac sign. She's a shoe collector and a little bit shy. She's not a fan of basketballs, bicycles, garbage bins, or overt gestures - but says she's still learning.
