GoNYC Team

Meet the passionate GGGW coordinators who adore their pups and want to spread the love! Check out one of our prior year's fun walk videos. These 4 ladies make the magic happen!

Special thanks also to Scott and Ron for their valued commitment and support each year - helping to make each walk a smashing success!

Ann Marie & Ozzie

Adopted from Greyhound Friends

At 14 years old Ozzie is twice retired! First from racing in Arkansas and then from working as a therapy dog in a nursing home in Massachusetts. He's also an experienced meet-n-greeter and absolutely LOVES people and pups. He'll be rooting for us at home this year since the event is a little too much for him these days. But I'll be telling him all about it and taking tons of pics!

Gabrielle & Bella

Adopted from Grateful Greyhounds

In June of 2019 Bella, the beautiful, loving and spunky retired racer, came HOME to me and Scott. We are enormously thankful for Bella’s wonderful foster mom, Elizabeth Obrien, who introduced us to this fun and caring community of Greyhound enthusiasts and whose guidance, support and friendship has been invaluable!

I'm thrilled to be a part of GoNYC and participating in my third GGGW to celebrate and raise awareness for these magnificent hounds! Bella is looking forward to it too since Central Park is her most favorite place. We hope to see you there! 🐾💕

Lisa & Kev

Kev was chosen for me by GAA in October 2021, shortly after my epic OG Felix left our world. Kev could not be a better fit to bring me joy, healing, playfulness and snuggles. He has grown into a true daily Ambassadog around midtown Manhattan and Central Park, choosing certain people to enthusiastically introduce himself to, and patiently tolerating the rest. We both cannot wait to see you all in September!

Melinda Molly Orig.jpg

Melinda & Molly

In October of 2022 our newly adopted marvelous Molly came into our lives to heal our broken hearts from the unexpected loss of our sweet girl Stella. We truly believe Stella crossed the rainbow bridge because she knew there was another greyt grey, Molly, who needed our love...

We are so blessed and very thankful to GFNJ for giving us the opportunity to be Molly's furever pawrents. Molly's passed her Canine Good Citizen Test and Intermediate & Advanced Obedience classes! We couldn't be more proud of her! We are looking forward to seeing so many wonderful hounds and their pawrents at the GGGW 2023!!!!
